Tradesman Mate
- Candidates should have 10th / Matriculation pass or equivalent from recognized board /University.
Fireman
- Candidates should have 10th / Matriculation pass or equivalent from recognized board /University.
Material Assistant
- Graduate in any discipline from any recognised university or Diploma in Material Management or Diploma in Engineering in any Discipline from any recognised Institute.
- Age Limit: 18-27 Years
Junior Office Assistant (JOA)
- 12th Class pass from a recognized Board or University.
- Typing Speed of 35 wpm in English on computer or a typing speed of 30 wpm in Hindi on computer.
- Age Limit: 18-27 Years
Civil Motor Driver (OG)
- Matriculation pass or equivalent from recognised board.
- Civilian Driving license of heavy vehicles.
- Have 02 years’ experience of driving such vehicles.

Tele Operator Grade-II

Army Ordnance Corps AOC Selection Process
Depending on the number of applications received, the number of candidates for tests will be restricted by the system based short listing process based on the marks obtained in the prescribed minimum educational qualification for the post(s). For the posts of Fireman & Tradesman Mate, where physical/ endurance test is prescribed prior to written test, a ratio of 1:75 i.e. number of application per post will be considered.

AOC Written Exam
Examination will be conducted in objective type questions and to be answered on Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) Sheets, the sample of which is given under ‘Candidates Corner’ on website.

Army Ordnance Corps AOC Syllabus
General Intelligence: It would include questions of both verbal and non-verbal type. The test will include questions on analogies and differences, space visualization, arithmetical number series, problem solving analysis , judgement, decision making, visual memory,
Discriminating observation, relationship, concepts, verbal and figure classification, non-verbal series etc. The test will also include questions designed to test the candidate’s abilities to deal will abstract ideas and symbols and their relationship, arithmetical computation and other analytical functions etc.
General English: Candidates understanding of English language and its correct usage, synonyms, antonyms, vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure and its correct usage etc.
Numerical Aptitude: The paper will include questions on problems relating to Number systems, computation whole numbers, averages, interest, profit and loss, discount, use of tables and graphs, mensuration, time and distance, ratio and time, time and work, Decimals and Fractions and relationship between numbers, fundamental arithmetical operations, percentages, ratio and proportion etc
General Awareness: Questions will be designed to test the ability of the candidate’s general awareness of the environment around them and its applications to society. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of currents events and of such matters of everyday observation and experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected out of educated personnel.
The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighbouring countries especially pertaining to sports, geography, economic scene, history, culture, general policy including Indian constitution and scientific research etc.

Choice of Exam Centre
The candidates will give five choices of AOC Exam Centres online, to be allotted to the shortlisted candidates on ‘First Come First Serve’ basis. In case of non availability of vacancy at the choice Exam Centres, the allotment will be made by the application software.
AOC Tradesman Mate & Fireman Admit Card 2024
Army Ordnance Corps Admit Card will be sent to the shortlisted applicants through registered email ID. The venue and schedule of Recruitment Rally will be indicated in the Admit Card and candidates will be required to report at the allotted Exam Centre accordingly.
Where physical/skill test precede written exam, only those candidates who qualify in the physical/skill test will be given Call letter for Written Test through e-mail ID after obtaining biometric attendance. Candidates will be required to report at Exam Centre with the Call Letter.
Admit cards have been mailed to the shortlisted candidates for the post of fireman and tradesman mate. A sms has also been sent on the registered mobile number. Candidates to report to respective exam centre on date mentioned on admit card for rally and document check.
